Joyia D. Bradley dropped by the foyer to discuss writing, directing & producing work that spurs her forward as a creator. She also shares how she pushes through failure & turns it into success.

Acting since the age of 12 (stage and screen), Joyia Bradley moved to writing, directing and producing in 2004 with EB Productions. EB Productions seeks to focus on challenging the stereotypical notions that are prevalent in the world today regarding “the others” – people of color, women, children, seniors and the LGBT. Her first stage production of Soul to Keep, opened to rave reviews. She writes, directs and produces for both the stage and screen and resides in New York.
Currently, she has two films on the festival circuit, Kitty Bainbridge is Dead and Azreal’s Dissent. Kitty Bainbridge is Dead has been seen in both the UK and USA. Currently, she is working on a graphic novel, for online episodic web content of her short: Azreal’s Dissent. She is also producing three other projects with friends to be completed in 2019.
