Holly M. Eaton
Host & Founder

Holly is a playwright, educator, and all-around curious person. Her most recently produced play, Swing, went up at La MaMa ETC and had a reading at Theatre 80 St Marks with the NEC (Negro Ensemble Company).

 

Holly contributed her writing to Collaborations: The Ultimate Actors/Directors Showcase, hosted by Vanessa L. Williams. Her play, Pop Life, was part of the Women’s Work LAB Short Play Festival, held at New Perspectives Theatre, both in Manhattan.

 

Her short play, Five Card Stud, was included in the show “Going to the River: River Plays” at Ensemble Studio Theatre in Manhattan.

 

Holly received her M.F.A. in Playwriting from Adelphi University, and her B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from Dartmouth College. Upon receiving her M.F.A., her thesis play was presented in a reading at Second Stage Theater. As an intern at Cherry Lane Theatre, Holly was the AD and read stage directions for a workshop production revival of The Fabulous Miss Marie, by Ed Bullins.

 

Holly co-hosted and went on to have her own radio program on WDCR at DC, entitled Night Grooves.

 

A native of Perth Amboy, NJ, Holly was raised among talkers and storytellers and enjoys engaging in this proud tradition of good conversation to this day.

Micah Zevin
Producer

Micah is a librarian & poet living in Queens, N.Y. with his wife, Holly, a playwright and podcaster. He and Holly often read/edit each other’s work. He has published a variety of articles and poems with Newtown Literary Journal, Reality Beach, Jokes Review, Post (Blank), the American Journal of Poetry, The Tower Journal, This Rough Beast and The Brownstone Poets Anthology, among others.

 

He created & curates an open mic/poetry prompt workshop called “The Risk of Discovery Reading Series” at Blue Cups Café in Woodside, Queens every 3rd Tuesday of the month (come on out!). He graduated with his M.F.A. in Poetry from The New School. Visit website:

Keith Salandy
Director of Sound Design/Producer

Keith brings decades of audio experience to our Some Say… podcast. Audio engineer, editor, music producer, artist, and voice over actor born and raised in Perth Amboy, NJ—he has earned a reputation by lending his services to companies such as New Line Cinema, Hip-Hop Association, and Black Entertainment Television (BET), just to name a few.

 

Keith is an honors graduate of Institute of Audio Research in New York City, where he taught as an adjunct professor in audio technology for over 7 years after graduating. Keith currently works as an even technician at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Hotel in Orlando, Florida and continues to multitask between various audio and musical endeavors. Keith and host Holly met in the 6th grade and have been trading ideas ever since.
